Personally, the only redemption I saw from him was that he gave up the treasure before he died. Other than that, I think it was a bit much of him to ask the mc to get revenge especially after how he was to the mc.

Actually I did enjoy the fight, SH is awesome as ever. I don’t want to keep justifying why they drag on the fight without end because it’s getting on my nerves as well.

Sadly, that’s how the novel is written: 80% of fighting and 20% of everything else. It’s difficult to please everyone. If SH downs everyone in one move, some will say that he’s too OP and it’s not realistic — no character and power building. But if they show how he struggles to fight those above him, the fighting scene will inevitably get drawn out, and there’ll be some who get bored by this endless fighting. All I can say is, I’ve stuck through it (reading the novel) and it’s rewarding albeit exhausting.

I mean that's the cliche with some of these donghua's tho MC to OP, but we still have these drawn out fights scenes that cliff hang over to the next couple of episodes, but hey i'm not complaining when the fight battles are this good and intense XD.

Chill mate! It’s clear SH is not in love with Yue Chan (at least not at the moment). Just watch on and you’ll know why they ended up getting married. The wedding is just a good excuse to ease up the tension (or boredom) from all this incessant fighting before the next round of fighting starts again.

At this point, I believe SH has only been attracted to two girls: Huo Linger and Yunxi.

Of all the FLs in the novel, I like Huo Linger the most simply because she’s loyal andher whole life was spent waiting for SH. on the other hand, Yunxi also sacrificed just as much if not more but somehow I feel SH doesn’t love her as much as Linger and this makes me feel bad for her, hence I’m always hoping the author will give her a happy ending but sigh.. **smh**😔

That’s the whole point of the drawn-out fight, he can’t end it in a few seconds. Those guys are one level higher than him. But I agree, watching him fight the same guys for episode over episode ain’t fun. At least they now tease us with a wedding preview. Maybe they know it’s getting boring, they need to throw some baits to keep the viewers hooked.
